How to start freelancing🤑
And earn 1 lakh/month as a beginner
What if I told you, you can earn 1 lakh/month. 💸
Or more than that using freelancing, then would you believe?
If not then you should trust this.
Because if you follow the right roadmap, you can earn this much money.
Many beginners are earning a lot of money through freelancing.
If you want to start your freelancing journey, follow these 5 steps.

👉️ Choose a niche:
Now, most of you might ask, what is niche Aniket?
Then niche is nothing but a category or a specialized segment where you will start selling your services.
Few people pronounce niche as “Nich“ or a “Nish“.
Choosing a niche is the most important step as this will define your future goals and success.
Now you can choose any niche that you are comfortable with. 💻️
There is no hard and fast rule to choose a specific segment.
But you should choose a niche in which you are good at or are interested in providing the services.
As, if you choose any niche, then you can’t stick to it in the long run.
There are many niches that you can go with and also are profitable in the long run.
Some examples of niches include Video editing, graphic designing, SEO, etc.
👉️ Identify your client:
When you choose a niche, now the next step is to decide your client’s persona.
What I mean is that you should know who are your target audience and should identify your clients.
As you can’t sell your services to everyone.
Identifying your target audience is very important.
If you have chosen a video editing service or a niche, then your TA (Target Audience) would be content creators, influencers, brands, etc.
Because these are the people who will need your services to edit their content and videos.
👉️ Choose a platform:
When you complete the above 2 steps, now here comes one of the important steps.
Which is to choose a platform where you can find your ideal clients.
There are several freelancing platforms where you can get your clients.
Platforms like Freelancer, Fiverr, Upwork, etc.
And these are the top platforms in the freelancing industry.
Either you can go with all the 3 or can stick to 1 and build your profile on the same.
👉️ Find your 1st client:
Let’s say you’ve done all the above steps.
But if you have not gotten your 1st client then how can you scale your services?
So now, your main goal should be to get your very 1st client.
You can find it on the above freelancing websites by sending the proposals.
Proposals are nothing but, a message that you will send to a prospect or a client about your services.
There are techniques for a proposal that I will tell you in future posts so that you can close a client.
👉️ Build a personal brand:
Finding your 1st client is the most hard thing to do.
And it becomes harder when you try to chase it on freelancing websites like Freelancer, Fiverr, etc.
Because the competition is too high and 1000s of freelancers are sending a proposal to 1 client.
Now how do you stand out from this crowd and get a client?
The easiest and proven way is to build a personal brand.
Why am I so confident about this?
Because when I was building my personal brand, I got inbound leads or the very first clients for my services.
You can also get the same if you build your personal brand.
The best platform to build your personal brand and get more leads is LinkedIn.
Where you can find your ideal prospects and send them a proposal.
These are the 5 step formulas by which you can start your freelancing journey.
